Gas Appliances We Install
Most of our appliance work comes out of kitchens — a new stove delivered from the shop, a hob going into a renovation, or a family moving off electric cooking because they are tired of load shedding ruining supper. We handle the gas side of all of it: cylinders, regulator, line, connection, testing and certificate.

Every appliance installation ends with a COC. We also inspect and certify existing installations for property sales, insurance and rental compliance.

If a builder or kitchen company is fitting your cupboards, we come in at the right stage to run the gas line before the units close everything up, then return to connect the appliance once it is on site. Working alongside our gas geyser installations means one cylinder bank and one certificate can cover the whole house.
Why Use a Registered Installer for Gas Appliances?
Because the law says so, and because your insurance depends on it. In South Africa a fixed gas appliance must be installed by a registered gas practitioner working to SANS 10087, and the installation must carry a Certificate of Compliance. Gas work is not a DIY job and it is not a handyman job.
It is a legal requirement
Only a registered installer may sign a gas COC. A connection done by an unregistered person cannot be certified, which means it will show up as a problem the day you sell or the day you claim.
Safety comes down to detail
Correct pipe sizing, the right regulator, approved hose within its date, secure cylinder placement and proper ventilation. Get one of those wrong and you have a slow leak in a closed kitchen.
Your insurer will ask
After a fire or a gas incident, the first question is who installed it and where is the certificate. An uncertified installation is the cheapest possible way to lose a claim.

What’s Included in an Appliance Installation?
A complete job, not just a hose pushed onto a spigot. we quote the whole installation upfront so there are no surprises halfway through, and the certificate is handed over when the work is signed off.
Gas line and connection
Copper line run and sized for the appliance, from the cylinder position to the stove or hob, with an isolation valve where it belongs so the appliance can be shut off on its own.
Regulator and cylinder setup
The correct regulator for the appliance and cylinder bank, cylinders positioned and secured outside to the required clearances, and changeover fitted where two cylinders are used.
Leak and pressure testing
The full installation is pressure tested and every joint checked before the appliance is used. We also confirm the flame picture and the flame-failure device on each burner.
Safety checks and COC
Ventilation, clearances to combustibles, hose condition and appliance suitability all checked, then your Certificate of Compliance issued and explained before we leave.

Gas Appliance Installation Questions
Yes. Any fixed gas appliance in a South African home — stove, hob, geyser or braai point — must be installed by a registered gas practitioner and signed off with a Certificate of Compliance. It is the document your insurer will ask for after an incident, and the one the conveyancer will ask for when you sell the house. We issue the COC as part of the installation, so you are not left chasing paperwork afterwards.
