The value pick for a normal three-bedroom house. Constant-temperature control keeps showers steady, and because it runs on batteries there is no plug point needed. It does need a weather cover — rain and coastal moisture damage the board and loom.

Practical and affordable, with a low-flow start that suits flats, granny flats, rentals and older plumbing with soft pressure. One bathroom at a time is its comfort zone. Cylinders, cage, cover and a flue where required are extras.

The quoted price is the job, not just the box. We supply the unit, run and pressure-test the gas line, connect the plumbing, commission the geyser and hand over your Certificate of Compliance before we leave. Nothing gets added afterwards without you agreeing to it first.
A lockable gas cage, a weather box or cover — essential for Dewhot and Cadac units, especially near the coast — and a weatherproof electrical point where a Paloma or Rinnai is going in and there is no power nearby. Each is quoted separately so you can see what you are paying for.
Most straightforward installations are a single day on site, and many are done in half of one. We quote same day after the assessment, and once you approve it the job is usually booked within a few days depending on stock and the week's diary.
GasCraft George will assess the plumbing, installation position and hot-water requirements, including where the cylinder can stand and how far the gas line has to run. You get a written quote the same day, with the model recommendation explained.

Yes. Any fixed gas installation in South Africa must be certified by a registered gas installer, and you will need that Certificate of Compliance for your insurance and again when you sell the property. A Gas Certificate of Compliance is issued by a registered gas practitioner on completion of every compliant installation — no second contractor, no waiting.
If you already have gas in the house and no paperwork, we can inspect the existing installation and certify it where it complies, or list what needs correcting first. That work sits under gas compliance, alongside gas safety inspections.
